Why Bruce Juice?

A live injection of Bruce Juice during the long years between Bruce Springsteen’s tours, this new band provides a vibrant tonic pumped into every aching hungry heart.
You can expect an ‘E-Street’ experience that captures the unique seven-piece band line-up through arrangements from legendary concerts such as the Main Point to the Bottom Line, Passaic, Winterland and Tempe.
The band reproduces the original arrangements from the 1970s Wild, Innocent and a slow, bluesy ‘E Street Shuffle’ as well as the iconic anthems from the ‘Born to Run’ tour.
More gems from the 1980s capture the crisp, rasping sound of the ‘Professor’s’ piano, Federici’s organ and Clarence’s sax from ‘The River’ tour, as well as a few stadium foot-stompers from the ‘Born in the USA’ tour.
Bruce Juice stands out as there are usually couple of surprise gems thrown in, with some great Bruce songs that don’t normally feature in tributes, but are much loved by Bruce fans.
This is the only Springsteen tribute band that combines both popular favourites with the essence of Springsteen’s arrangements in legendary live gigs and an unforgettable show.
The term ‘tribute band’ doesn’t really fit – it is just that there isn’t another word. We are not trying to pay tribute to Bruce as if he has won an award or passed away. Instead, we absolutely LOVE his music and everything about the energy and passion with which he and the E Street Band deliver unforgettable shows.

So, instead, we aim to take a strong flavour from Bruce’s live performances and combine them with legendary arrangements mixed in with the rich texture of the E Street Band and give audiences a Springsteen-inspired experience full of E Street magic.
We certainly do not try to imitate or mimic Springsteen, which as all fans will know, would be an exercise in failure, though we will borrow a variety of phrases, caricatures and moments from great Bruce gigs to give a glimpse of what an up close and personal experience it must have been for all those fortunate enough to have seen Bruce in those small, intimate gigs at the Bottom Line and the Main Point, among many others.
So, we aim to deliver a high-energy show inspired by Springsteen, to send you home with a strong injection of Bruce Juice until the real thing alights on these shores again.

“They’ve reset the bar – there has never been a Springsteen tribute band gig like that . . . the scale, the rarities, the audience participation . . . absolutely blown the others out of the water, I’m afraid . . . ”

From independent music promoters / venue managers on seeing Bruce Juice perform for the first time:-

“You guys will sell out here very soon” – immediately booked three follow-up gigs over the next 18 months    – Chris Johnson, Beaverwood Club, Chislehurst

“We booked this band on a recommendation and our members came with good expectations as Springsteen fans, but Bruce Juice exceeded these with quality musicianship combined with an energetic performance. They sent the punters away asking: ‘When are they playing next?’ They put one hell of a show – great stage presence – and we will certainly be booking them again.”
Stan Hetherington, Whitty Theatre & Wokingham Music Festival

“In their first year, Bruce Juice came down to the Half Moon and sold the place out on a Sunday! They put on a high-energy 3-hour show and sent the crowd home very happy indeed. They already appear to have a good following and their next gig looks like it is also going to be sold out.”
Phil Atkinson, Half Moon, Putney
